Доктор Монтаг работает в МШЭ старшим преподавателем с 2016 года. До этого профессор работал в Университете Менделя и Университете Масарика в городе Брно, Чехия. Специализируется в экономическом анализе прав человека. Проводил исследования в области криминального поведения, миграции и загрязнения транспортом. Получил степень PhD в Экономике и Праве в Университете Турина в Италии.
